Be "Au Pair" in Italy

 
   

Age: 18 - 30 years.
Single with no children.
Minimum knowledge of the local language is not necessary.
Minimum stay of 2 months (for summer period) to 2 years.
Driving license is appreciated and, therefore, an insurance that covers any accidents.
As refers to cigarette smoking, habits of the house must be respected (it is easier to find a family).
Enjoy good health.
Have no criminal record.
Work 5 -6hours/day, 25-30h/week.
 Free Days: 1 -2 days free to enjoy its Italian language classes because one of the objectives of the program is learning and development the language.
The "Au Pair" pays its classes but the family must help you choose the best option.
Pocket  money around 80-85 € /week.
Baby sitting: 2-3 nights.
Tasks: Takes Care of children and does housekeeping related to them, for example: takes them to school, to the park, feed them, cleans their rooms, plays with them and helps them with the language. Performs light work in the house and deals with his room. Also they may be asked to take care of children 1 or 2 nights a week.
The "Au Pair" pays its round trip and will be picked up by the host family at the airport (if there were any changes notify so that there would be no problems).

Availability of a separate bedroom for private use by the "Au Pair".
Right to full feed during your stay, totally free of charge. This does not mean that should do the cooking. It is a member of the family and has the right to eat what we eat at home. If the family is going out for lunch, she or he has the right to make use of the kitchen and cook.
Deliver pocket money from 65€ per 30 hours of work per week. In the event that the family may require extra help they will compensate the "Au Pair" with an extra money or free time, as agreed upon with him or her
Provide weekly rest of 1 and a half days or 2, depending on the number of hours worked.
When the "Au Pair" will reach 6 months with the family, shall have the right to 1 week of paid vacation and 2 weeks if is 1 year.
If Italian classes are away from the family home, you should facilitate transportation. If it is necessary to register the "Au Pair" to the authorities, in the case of requiring visa or residence permit, the host family must pay the costs required by your country of origin.
The "Au Pair" must always be able to contact the agency.
In case there would be problems of coexistence and a solution cannot found, the agency shall be notified and will have 2 weeks to find a solution.

Important: the "Au Pairs” are not nannies nor employees at home, so that they should not be required full responsibility for the children or housekeeping.
